Ohio economic stimulus proposal invests in renewable and advanced energy

Ohio Governor Ted Strickland has proposed a $1.57B economic stimulus package for the state that would invest in invested in, among other things, renewable and advanced energy like wind, solar, and cleaner coal technology.

According to this article in the Toledo Blade, spending of the stimulus dollars could begin as early as the next fiscal year (July).

No specifics on the renewables projects that might fund support under the stimulus plan were immediately available.
